The third day was so much fun! Chef Alex made us some great sausage and scrambled eggs to start off our morning. After breakfast, we all played some ga ga ball and tether ball before heading back to our cabins to prepare for the long day ahead. Andrew led us in Morning Prayer and then we had separate girl and boy rehearsals where we practiced Evensong music for Friday. Our musical morning was concluded with an hour of ribbon training.
We were all very excited for the ropes course that afternoon, but we had to fuel ourselves with a big lunch first. Chef Alex made pulled pork sandwiches which were a hit! Finally we were out in the field with Tristan and Nate (Camp DeWolfe staff) who lead us in a bunch of team building games. Our favorite activity was called “Whale Watch” where we stood on a large wooden seesaw. The objective of the game was to get our whole team on the plank by distributing our weight evenly. It took some time, but eventually we succeeded! We also did the high ropes and rock wall which seemed scary at first but ended up being really fun!

We were all very tired and hungry, so we headed back to the dining hall for our evening grub of chicken, noodles, corn, and key lime pie. After dinner we had our final rehearsal of the day and a calming Compline service. The evening was finished off by watching the hilarious movie “Mr. Bean”. We all slept well after such an eventful day of camp!
