et the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
– Mark 10:14
Infants, toddlers and children are always welcome in worship, but for those who desire, we do offering the following options for children during Sunday morning worship:
Infants (age 3 & younger)
Loving professional childcare is provided on Sundays between the hours of 9:00 am – 12:15 pm (9:45-11:15 am during summer worship schedule) in the Rainbow Room of the Education Building (Nursery School). The Education Building can be accessed through the Lower Hallway.
Children (Pre-K & Kindergarten)*
At 9:15 am, children, Pre-K through Kindergarten, are invited to the Family Room for a Children’s Service. The Family Room can be accessed through the door to the right of the St. John’s Altar, on the West side of the Church. Children will return in time to receive Communion with their families.
Children (grades 1 – 5)*
Older children, grades 1-5, are invited to the Chapel for their own service which runs concurrently with the 9:15 am adult service in the Church. The children will return to their families at the peace.
*Parents, who desire, are welcome to stay with their children for these worship offerings.
Church School (Pre-K – grade 5)
Church School takes place on Sundays in the Education Building (Nursery School), immediately following the 9:15 am worship service. Church School runs concurrently with the 10:10 Exploration Series for adults in the Parish Hall. Children in attendance at the 9:15 am service will be invited to follow the Church School cross out of the sanctuary to their Church School classrooms.
