Above all else, the primary objective of our youth ministry program is to provide mature spiritual development for our middle and high school students. This past year, we explored a range of activities and events that addressed spiritual development from numerous angles: worship, education, service and outreach, and fellowship.
We continued to encourage our youth to live their faith through service to others, especially those marginalized by society. Middle and high school students volunteered regularly for Neighbor to Neighbor and Inspirica events.
Opportunities for worship and service are a natural outgrowth of the educational centerpiece of our youth ministry: our middle school Confirmation Program which uses the curriculum, Confirm Not Conform. We confirmed a particularly large group of 7th and 8th graders during in May.
It goes without saying that this is a wonderfully vibrant, energetic parish with an amazing group of youth.
