From weekly celebrations of the Holy Eucharist to monthly Evensongs to the solemn annual liturgies of Christmas Eve and Easter Vigil, the choirs of Christ Church Greenwich play a central role in this parish’s rich life of worship. While services and liturgies are conducted according to the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer, singers of all backgrounds and faith traditions participate in our choirs. Our only requirements for potential choristers are a willingness to learn and a desire to work together to achieve common goals.
Being in choir provided me with a community of friends and family who not only helped to foster and nourish my love for music, but also taught me the importance of friendship and acceptance. They have shaped me into the person I am today.
– Choir Alumna
Choir has been invaluable to my child in so many ways. By teaching him the value of commitment, leadership and teamwork, I have witnessed him grow in confidence and concern for others.
– Choir Parent
Choir helps me appreciate all the different aspects of music, including working as part of a group, and understanding my part. I’ve also made some great friends.
