Neighbor to Neighbor Update

On behalf of the Wardens and Vestry, I am happy to report that Neighbor to Neighbor (NtN) has announced that it will be moving forward with building its new home on a leased parcel of our campus at 248 East Putnam Avenue.

NtN is an independent non-profit entity whose mission is to provide food, clothing and basic living essentials to local residents in need. Christ Church Greenwich has provided NtN with space on our campus since 1975 and has supported NtN through Outreach grants and events. Just this past year, parishioners packed food for NtN during the Pack-A-Thon, hosted a Harvest Dinner for NtN’s clients, packed backpacks for children returning to school, and collected food for NtN during our Lenten Food Drive.

Our relationship with NtN gives us the opportunity to follow the way of Jesus. We are excited that NtN will be able to move into a space that will allow it to continue to provide vital support to those in our community who find themselves in need.
