Outside, under a tent at the Tomes-Higgins House
The kick-off event for an entire Cuba Weekend at Christ Church Greenwich! Come to a fabulous Cuban-themed party with Cuban food and music. Sponsored in collaboration with the CCG Outreach Committee, celebrating our companion parish, San Marcos, in Holguin, Cuba. Hosted by The CCG Gatherings committee
Tickets are $75 per person available HERE
Christ Church Greenwich will be sending a group of ten from our Parish to Cuba in November to catch up on the progress of our Companion Parish, San Marcos, since our last visit there two years ago. After that visit we helped them purchase a building for their Church – they had been worshipping for 12 years in a family’s parlor. This is resulting in they being able to have more than the one Sunday Eucharist. We will be bringing down a water purification system for anyone being able to fill their containers with potable water – difficult to find in Cuba. We’ll also be bringing medical supplies that are in very short supply.
