Courage & Faith: Padraig O Tuama

As part of the 2019 Courage & Faith Speaker Series, we are pleased to welcome Pàdraig Ó Tuama to Christ Church Greenwich.

Poems in the Gaps of the Gospel
Sunday, November 3
10:10am, Parish Hall

Pàdraig is a poet, thologian, and leader of Corrymeela, Northern Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation community. His books of poetry include Daily Prayer from the Corrymeela Community (2017), In the Shelter (2015), Sorry for Your Troubles (2012), and Readings from the Book of Exile (2011).  Earlier this year, his poem The Place Between was featured in the anthology Neither Here nor There: The Many Voices of Liminality.

Join us for our Sunday Forum on November 3 at 10:10am in the Parish Hall. Pàdraig will share with us some of his poems – exploring gaps in the gospel – and discuss ways to use prayer, poetry, and protest when it comes to power and privilege.

In addition to the Sunday Forum, Padraig will also be preaching at our 9 & 11 am worship services.  These offerings are free and open to the public.  Join us!
