The Episcopal Church of Cuba

We are excited to be working with San Marcos Parish in Holguin, Cuba!  We look forward to developing new opportunities for engagement with our companion parish, including youth exchanges an other activities.

Ten parishioners will travel to Cuba this November, CCG’s third mission trip there. After our last trip in 2020, we helped our companion parish in Holguin, San Marcos, purchase a new church home. They had been worshipping for 12 years in a family’s parlor. The new site allows them to hold multiple, larger Sunday services as well as provides space for youth programs and community outreach.

In addition to critical medical and personal care products which are scarce in Cuba, we will bring a water purification system to be installed at the new church site. Potable water is not available in Cuba. Thus, the ECC (Episcopal Church of Cuba) is dedicated to installing water purification systems, accessible to the public, at churches throughout its 46 parishes.
