Maria Olson Goins is a Russian-American who was born in Japan, and grew up in Tokyo, Germany, and Westchester. She graduated with a First Class BA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She spent several years at the conflict resolution non-profit International Alert as a gender and security expert based in London. Maria managed global programs with grassroots groups in conflict zones, and worked on policy advocacy with governments and organizations such as the UN Security Council. Her love of content and digital media led her to a career change and relocation to NYC, to work for Amazon’s Audible in content acquisition and business development. She has also worked in the tech startup world in NYC, as an entrepreneur, and as a content, communications, and digital marketing executive. Maria is passionate about moving Christ Church Greenwich into the digital future. She lives with her husband and two young daughters in Ridgefield, CT.
