Jennifer has been in the field of education for over 25 years. She graduated with a BA in Comparative Literature from William Smith College, and an MA in Early Childhood Education from the Bank Street College of Education. Jennifer taught kindergarten and first grade for ten years at PS 234 in downtown Manhattan, after which she was recruited by the consulting group AUSSIE (Australian United States Services In Education) to share literacy best practices with schools and districts throughout New York City. Seven years later, she shifted the focus of her consulting work to teaching inclusive practices and how to help all students access curriculum. With the company Gold-Mansour and Rutherford, she worked with school districts throughout Manhattan, Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Jennifer has an undeniable passion for young children and how they learn. She lives with her husband and two children in Westport, CT.
