Together, Rabbi Mitch Hurvitz and our Rector will help us explore eight themes over four weeks, including: the creation story, Noah’s Ark, the Tower of Babel, Abraham’s Journey, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Binding of Isaac, Jacob’s Ladder, Joseph and his brothers. Join us!

Rabbi Mitch is known for his gifted teaching. He has served as Senior Rabbi of Temple Sholom since 2001 and is a community activist, scholar, preacher and prominent leader of the Greenwich clergy.

The class is free and open to all of our members. Participants can attend as many sessions as their schedule permits.

A torah (Hebrew scripture) reading. The "yod" - a hand-shaped silver pointer - is used by the reader to mark his or her place in the text.
