This Sunday marks our first worship service at 10:00 am in the Parish Hall. Get a cup of coffee and treat after the service and come back into the Hall for a time for conversation. There is good news at Christ Church Greenwich about our continuing restoration projects, new ordained colleagues that will be joining us, where and how worship events will be happening, and parish life generally. Join us for a viewing of and discussion on Selma, a film that chronicles the unforgettable true story of a tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. The epic march from Selma to Montgomery culminated in President Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965, one of the most significant victories for the civil rights movement.
Jim Lemler is a nationally known leader, educator, consultant, preacher and pastor. Prior to his appointment at Christ Church Greenwich he served as the Director of Mission for the Episcopal Church, USA.
Jenny Owen, a recent graduate from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, is passionate about journeying with people of all ages as we wrestle with our faith and seek to serve God, each other, our communities and our world.
