Celebrate Our History and Embrace Our Future! 

Christ Church Greenwich was founded as “Horseneck Chapel” in 1749 - 40 years before George Washington served as the 1st President of the United States!

2024 also marks the 90th anniversary of the Christ Church Greenwich Music program in 1934. Save the date of June 1, 2024 for our Christ Church Music Department Anniversary Celebration!

2024 also marks the anniversary of the first Episcopal Bishop in the United States, Samuel Seabury, November 14, 1784.

275th Anniversary Kick-off Sunday, January 21, 2024

Start our year of events with a historical Worship Service at 10:00 am followed by a historical meal and celebration in the Parish Hall, and a “Where’s Jesus?” scavenger hunt for the children.

2024 will be a time to celebrate our history and embrace our future. It is not only a time for thanksgiving for what has come before. It is also a time for looking into the future as God calls us to seek fresh ways to be faithful partners with the Risen Christ.
