Mondays Sept. 18 - Nov. 20
7-8:30 pm (Dinner served at 6:15-7 pm on 3 of the dates)
$100 per person covers the cost of food and refreshments for 10 weeks.
Participants need to be able to attend at least seven out of the ten classes in order for the small breakout groups to be effective.

DOCC is a unique, transformative and inspiring experience, which fosters profound connections as you explore your faith and look deeply into your beliefs. Each session will begin as a larger group led by one of our clergy, with a different topic each week, followed by breakout sessions in smaller discussion groups across the campus. Topics include:

·      Becoming the Church

·      The Contemporary Institutional Church

·      Listening as an Act of Love

·      Prayer

·      Human Need and God’s Call (led by the Very Rev. Robert Willis, former Dean of Canterbury Cathedral, our Theologian- in- Residence from October 29-November 5)

·      Jesus and God’s Kingdom

·      The Gift of Love

·      A Biblical Faith

·      Fresh Perspectives on Traditional Words of Faith

·      Spiritual lifelines

The clergy-led talk will be 20 minutes, leaving the majority of the evening to be spent in the small group processing the topic and allowing for individuals to share their own thoughts and learn from one another. Each evening will conclude by gathering back with the larger group and receiving the Eucharist.

Participants spend time with the same individuals week by week, forging trusting, deep connections, and creating an immediate sense of community within the church. The shared exploration of faith in such an intimate way leaves a lasting impact and genuine camaraderie in a community of like-minded souls. The DOCC experience is truly remarkable!
