ADJUNCT SINGING TEACHER

Ellen Taylor Sisson has been involved with training Christ Church choristers since 2006, and especially works with our girl choristers.  She helps our youngest choristers acclimatize into the choir quickly, teaches music theory and basic vocal technique as part of the ribbon training program, and prepares our advanced choristers for solos in services and concerts.  Ellen is on the faculty of the Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan and maintains a private voice studio. She is also an active participant in the New York professional choral scene, performing at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall and at international music festivals.  She is a frequent soloist for weddings and funerals at Christ Church.
