“The Intersection Between Therapy and Theology”
Scripture gives us a clear picture of what it means to be like Christ and to be set apart from the world. In this age where the world has popularized therapy as a means of healing, can we, as believers, also trust it as a tool that honors God? This seminar will talk about how therapy and theology interact and how we can approach the two together.

The Invisible Conversations Between Adult Children and Aging Parents
Living arrangements, changing health issues, money, grief, loss, caregiving, when to stop driving: Whether you are an adult with an aging parent, or an older parent with an adult child(ren), many topics arise which need to be discussed, so that family members may remain connected at a very important time in life. And yet, research shows that those conversations and the surrounding emotional landscape between parents and their adult children often prevent them from happening, leaving all involved with a myriad of feelings. Based on real-life examples from over 33 years of working with people in Greenwich and beyond, this session will help you better navigate this crucial time with compassion and care.

“Empty Nest: Navigating Through and Thriving Beyond”
You’ve poured your heart and soul into raising your children to become responsible and independent adults. Then, just as they spread their wings, your role dramatically shifts—it can feel like you’ve been “fired”! Your nest is empty. Now what?Your heart may feel heavy, or you might feel a sense of relief. You may wonder how your relationship with your adult children will evolve, how your marriage might change, or what will fill the space in your daily routine now that your children are no longer at home.
The transition to the empty nest stage comes with its challenges, as is true for any significant life change. Yet, it also opens the door to a world of new discoveries and opportunities, many of which may have been waiting for their moment to shine.
As mothers, let’s come together to explore this unique journey. By supporting and encouraging one another, we can navigate the challenges and embrace the possibilities that this special season of motherhood brings.
