Christ Church Greenwich was founded as “Horseneck Chapel” in 1749 - 40 years before George Washington served as the 1st President of the United States!

2024 marks the 90th anniversary of the Christ Church Greenwich Music program in 1934 and the first Episcopal Bishop in the United States, Samuel Seabury, November 14, 1784.

2024 will be a time to celebrate our history and embrace our future. It is not only a time for thanksgiving for what has come before. It is also a time for looking into the future as God calls us to seek fresh ways to be faithful partners with the Risen Christ.
